National Accounts ratios
The National Accounts ratios reflect the ratio between the estimates from the microdata and those from the National Accounts. The mapping of LIS microdata variables to National Accounts concepts is shown in the `National Accounts Comparison Table` tab. E.g. The `Wages and salaries` ratio is obtained from dividing the grossed up wages from the LIS microdata (hi11 + hi13) by the D11R item in the National Accounts. The National Accounts data is retrieved from the OECD's Non-financial accounts table for households.
What is this app for?
This tool aims to showcase issues with consistency and comparability of the data series in LIS and LWS databases. It displays which survey series exist in a country, and the cases when methodological changes occurred within survey series. Researchers should be aware of breaks in series caused by switching surveys or breaks within ongoing surveys.
